Little Roo was taken to the vet today and was too sick and suffering to keep alive. So he had been sent to that big chicken coop in the sky. He was such a lovely gentle little man and I'm glad he is at peace.
A bit of history: I had him for about a month. He was a give away but when he was dropped off to me he wasn't well. Despite my best efforts he just wasn't coming right -hence the visit to the vet.
I'll be back later with some photos and a happier story.

Oh no, Little Roo hope you are happy in chooky heaven now. Who knows why our feathered friends leave us - sometimes they seem so fragile and yet when you see they destroying your garden and running about robustly it's easy to take their health for granted. HUGS Cheryl!

Poor little roo! Sorry that he has had to leave us, but I am sure he is having the time of his life in the big chook run upstairs.
